The much-awaited game Battlegrounds (PUBG) Mobile India recently announced by krafton that it will soon be launched in India. Battlegrounds Mobile India recently went live for pre-registration and even before its release politicians of the country started demanding a ban on the game.
Former Union Minister and Ninong erin of Arunachal Pradesh are on the list of politicians seeking to ban the game.

He wrote a letter to the Prime Minister of the country saying that the release of the game poses a threat to the privacy and security of the Indians.

Another MP, Abhishek Singhvi, tweeted that the release of the game is Tencent's re-entry into India.

The Chinese company Tencent is the world’s biggest gaming company and has a stake in over 300 gaming companies however, its stake has raised national security concerns in multiple countries the United State committee on foreign investment (CFIUS) has asked companies in the US which have Tencent stake about their security protocol and handling of data.
